A terminally sick man who campaigned to alter the legislation on assisted dying has died aged 71 after making a choice to take away his ventilator, a marketing campaign group has stated.

Noel Conway was identified with motor neurone illness in 2014 and in 2018 his authorized struggle to die “peacefully and with dignity” was rejected by the Supreme Courtroom.

The retired school lecturer died at his residence in Garmston, Shropshire on Wednesday.
